Meet Cody

Meet Cody my sister's new chocolate lab. He is such a sweetie but as a puppy doesn't do commands right now so I had to take what I could get. I am really enjoying this whole pet photography as even animals are wonderful to photograph. I am not saying I want to be a pet photographer, its fun but hard. Its just like photographing children but with more slobbering kisses and running off faster.

Good times

I never realized how much fun pet photography would be. I had the pleasure of shooting my brother's 4 dogs. They were tough but fun and honesty act like kids in every way minus the crying :). This was the first time I've done serious pet photos. I mean I have a dog and a cat but I was never serious in trying to pose them or take pictures of them seriously. Now because I had the opportunity to photography the boys I have decided I'd like to keep up with it. It was fun and I had a blast! Hopefully I will be able to do more

First time!

This is my first time posting a blog and I hope I am able to keep up with it and share my photos with others. I'm just a simple girl with a Canon who loves to shoot just about everything. Babies and children are my favorite because they just have so much character to show. I want to be able to capture those precious moments for families to treasure for the rest of their lives. I hope I can do that with my work :)
